TVs may have become slimmer over time, but for many models, the built-in speakers haven’t necessarily improved along with that aesthetic shift. If you want clearer dialogue and more cinematic sound without sacrificing space, introducing a bulky look into your media room, or spending hundreds of dollars, the compact Sony S100F soundbar is currently down to $98 (originally $159.99) in an early October Prime Day 2026 deal.
Along with being at a more approachable price (and size) for a soundbar compared to more premium options from brands like Sonos, the soundbar connects via the tidy setup of HDMI ARC or optical audio, while Bluetooth lets you play music from a phone or tablet, and a USB port supports audio files. Voice Mode helps improve dialogue clarity, while Sony’s S-Force Pro Front Surround processing allows for better sound from the two-channel system.
Unlike pricier bundles, this one doesn’t include a separate subwoofer or rear speakers, but that also makes it a more versatile option to mount or place on a wider range of furniture. That said, compared to those models, bass on the S100F isn’t as deep, and with its two-channel design, it doesn’t offer full surround sound.
That said, if your priority is improving sound when watching dialogue-heavy content, TV and movies, or sports, the Sony S100F soundbar gets it done in a sleek and simple package, making it one of the top deals for shoppers determined to stay below the $100 mark.
