While you might know Dyson for leading the charge in the best vacuum cleaners and air purifiers, the high-tech home brand also offers some of the best over-ear headphones on the market, with a fun, flashy look. After a polarizing initial headphones debut with a built-in air filter, the noise-canceling Dyson OnTrac headphones are a successful follow-up with superb sound quality, and right now, they’re at an all-time low: 50% off, down to $249 (originally $499).

Available in CNC Aluminum and CNC copper, these stylish aluminum headphones have a retro-futuristic vibe similar to Nothing’s over-ear headphones. They earned an “Excellent” rating from PCMag for their impressive sound quality, bolstered by strong bass and mids, as well as superior noise cancellation. They feature plush foam cushioning on the earcups and headband for extended listening, with hinges that allow them to fold flat and fit in their included case. Controls live on a raised mount attached to the headband and are less finicky than touch panels.

Battery life lasts up to 55 hours with ANC, plus nine hours from a 30-minute charge, easily surpassing top contenders like the Bose QuietComfort, Sony WH-1000XM5, and AirPods Max, making them a solid choice for long flights or anyone who often forgets to charge their headphones. They connect to the MyDyson app, which also controls the brand’s other devices. While there are three equalizer modes and three noise-cancellation modes, there’s no custom EQ. That said, the app does have one unique feature: Sound exposure metrics monitor whether you’re exposed to unsafe sound levels over time.

The ANC also competes with top models from brands like Sony and Bose, muffling both low and high frequencies with ease. The bass is thunderous, sound doesn’t distort even at high volume, and mic quality is strong for voice calls. If you enjoy the OnTrac aesthetic, want a heavy dose of bass with your listening experience, and battery life that’s hard to beat, you won’t be disappointed by the Dyson OnTrac headphones, especially at a rare 50% discount.
