Over the last 10 years, Hisense, a brand that has never had as much recognition as say, Sony or Panasonic, has been forming a growing community of devotees. This week, the largest televisions they offer in a wide range of lines are all deeply discounted.
I was perfectly content with my 40-inch television for a long time, and couldn’t see the point of scaling up. I had a small living room; it seemed unnecessary. And then I installed a 65 inch-television last winter and long story short: I was wrong. A bigger TV is worth it.
Hisense U6HF Series 4K QLED Fire TV
In the U6 series, you have to decide if you’d prefer an Alexa-based or Google-based TV. The Fire version, which carries Alexa assistant, performs extremely well in overall picture performance, and seems to outperform the U7 in black uniformity.
Hisense U6N Series Mini-LED QLED Google TV
Hisense U7N Series Mini-LED QLED Google TV
The U7 improved over the U6 line when it comes to contrast and brightness. It also gained HDMI ports and, with a better refresh rate, is probably superior for gaming than the U6 line.
Hisense U8N Series Mini-LED QLED Google TV
The newest of the sale offerings, the U8 line has a high number of local dimming zones, bringing exceptional overall picture quality, and great HDR and peak brightness.
